Lucy Bates started 1st Class Cleaning in September 1997 providing a personal cleaning service mainly to domestic clients. Over the years the client base has extended to include businesses both commercial & private. This expansion took place primarily as the result of recommendations from existing clients.
In 2003 Ellemby Ltd was established with Lucy Bates as the managing director. They took over the business of 1st Class Cleaning and expanded to provide both Domestic & Commercial window cleaning.
Considerable investment was made into the latest safe cleaning technology namely a water fed pole cleaning system known as the Reach & Wash. They also expanded into industrial cleaning and have a number of large contracts with local authorities and nationally known businesses.
The Business, it's management team and staff are committed to ensuring that a 1st class service which meets customers standards is provided through a quality control system. Ellemby Ltd is committed to providing the same high quality service now as it did when originally starting in business. Customer satisfaction is paramount.
